Khula gagan mera..nayi dagar naya safar mera

There is much to be done, shared and talked about than a personal note of anecdotes and opinions. There is a beyond. Starting on a new track, I needed some prose to hum...and quote. There were some - the upbeat and patriotic 'Rang de Basanti-title track', a rebellious 'Khalbali and the tense 'Khoon chala'. But, I choose a more positive, and uplifting -'Roobaroo'. Though the theme and spirit is going to be about my land and its people, and also there is also a rebelling and questioning the system, I think it is more about what I feel inside. The dialogue from the same movie says all: "Zindagi jeeney mein do tarikhe hote hain, Ek chup raho,bardashth karthe raho. Ya phir zimmedari uthao use badalne ke liye"
To unzip myself after my many readings and wanderings, and to connect with fellow spirits engaged in similar pursuits, is this place for me.

Before I forget--the disclaimer: the blog is not one of the many reactions to Rang de Basanti, nor do I subscribe and limit myself to anything. I just found something I could relate to..in the words, and music. :)
